By Aiden ArmstrongWhen overseeing a construction project and you want to cut expenses, you can rent a crane instead of purchasing one. When you are buying a crane, you will incur storage and maintenance costs. To find the right crane companies in Arizona, some of the factors you may consider include:
1. Experience and Capability
The power and size of the crane matters. Nevertheless, you must ensure that the crane company is capable and experienced. Ensure that the crane company has a good reputation and their staff are well-trained and skilled. You can also ask the company about the brand of the cranes in their fleet.
You can go ahead and ask the crane company about their previous clients. If the crane company has served companies in different industries, they may have ample experience handling challenging projects. You also need to ensure that the crane company can quickly adapt to challenges, such as extreme weather conditions, that may arise when handling different projects.
2. Insurance Status
When hiring a crane, the company in charge of the lease should ensure you have access to the right safety amenities. Ensure that the company has presented their insurance status and other important documents. You also need to go through the crane hiring contract well to understand what you’ll be liable for in case of an accident or when the equipment is mishandled. Getting backup insurance for your staff is advisable when the crane company doesn’t offer that coverage.
