By Aiden ArmstrongKnowing that you need AC service in Pasco County can be a frustrating situation. You are in a home with an air conditioner that is either not working or not working in the way that it should be, leaving you hot and uncomfortable. On top of that, you need to find time to fix it and choose the right company to handle the repairs. You can’t just choose a company out of a hat, so we’ve compiled some questions to help you make the right decision.
Are You Insured, Licensed, and Bonded?
Before you move forward with any company, you should be sure that they are licensed. This means that the company is legally able to provide services in the United States. Being bonded is also important as it means the company is backed in case of claims that may be filed against them. Finally, being insured gives you peace of mind that if an injury happens on your property, you won’t be held liable for that. Any professional AC service in Pasco County will ticks the boxes on all three of these things.
Can You Provide Me with References?
Since air conditioning services can be expensive, it’s important to know the quality of work and customer service that a company provides. This is possible by talking with references who have used the company in the past. In addition to contacting references, it can also be a great idea to visit the Internet and look up reviews on sites like Yelp. Anonymous customers may offer important information about a company that you would not get elsewhere.
Do You Offer Detailed, Written Estimates?
Before you sign a contract, ask if you can get a written estimate for the services you need. This has numerous benefits, once of which is what you’re safeguarded from extra fees. Another is that you know from the get-go that the company is doing everything they promise to do. It’s a fantastic option for accountability both on your side and the side of the contractor doing the work.
