You may wonder what will be required of you when renting storage units, especially if this is your first time. You will need to provide identification. You can usually use a driver’s license, passport, state ID, or military ID. Make sure to read the storage unit contract or agreement from start to finish before signing on the dotted line.
Some storage companies will offer free truck rentals along with the storage units they have available for rent. This will allow you to easily transport bulky items in one single load. This will save money and cut down on the work you have to do to get your belongings into the storage unit.
There are some companies that offer short-term agreements. It is good to be aware that if you are only going to rent the unit for a couple of days, you will likely pay a higher rate.
