By Aiden ArmstrongWhen looking for an apartment to live in when attending university classes, location is important. You want to think about how long it will take you to get from your apartment to the university and work. When considering the location, also think about how far you will need to go to visit your favorite restaurants, purchase groceries, get a haircut, and run necessary errands. Take into consideration how long it will take you to get to these places when driving in your own vehicle and when using public transportation.
As you look at luxury apartments close to LSU, consider the amenities that are available. Make a list of amenities that are an absolute priority for you. For example, you may want a place that has an on-site gym that will help you stay in shape. You may want a place that allows you to take the elevator up to your apartment. Or you may want to place that has in-unit laundry. Do not even consider places that do not offer the amenities that are priorities for you.
If you plan to keep your pet or get a pet, look closely at the pet policy at luxury apartments close to LSU. Not only do you want to be sure that the place is pet friendly, but you need to make sure that you can afford the deposit or monthly rent. You also want to make sure that the particular breed is allowed.
