By Aiden ArmstrongThe first thing you should do if you have been hurt in any way in a car accident is hire a Tulsa car wreck lawyer. They will be sure to get you a bigger settlement from the insurance company than you would have gotten yourself. They will also relieve a lot of the stress that comes with dealing with a car insurance claim. If you are in the process of hiring one, here are some signs that you’ve found the right one.
1. They Are Good Listeners – When you first meet with them, pay attention to how closely they listen to your story. A good Tulsa car wreck lawyer will ask you questions about your point of view to ensure that get the full and correct story to represent you. If they are dismissive and have created their own version of your story, avoid hiring them.
2. They Have Good Reviews – Google reviews can be reliable for attorneys, especially if there are a lot of them. Read up on the lawyer you are interested in to see what kind of experience past clients had with them. If the reviews are almost all good, consider hiring them. A few bad reviews here and there is ok.
3. They Make It Less Stressful – A good lawyer will reduce stress, not add to it. They should be doing most of the busywork and paperwork without you. Your job is to focus on getting better.
