By Aiden ArmstrongAre you ready to transform your outdoor space with a beautiful and relaxing spa or swimming pool that complements its surroundings and beckons you to enjoy its refreshing clear water? Concrete swimming pools and spas can be designed to seamlessly blend with virtually any landscape, large or small. With the right contractor, you can have a design that fits your space, lifestyle, and budget.
The Process from Design to Installation
The process of installing a pool isn’t complex, but each step in the process deserves the attention and expertise of a qualified pool contractor from start to finish. The process starts with a free consultation with a pool design professional, including an evaluation of your ideas, available space, and budget to create a design that you’ll be more than happy with. Following the design, engineering, planning, and permitting steps that concrete swimming pools and underground spas require, your pool contractor will lay out the design on the ground, excavate it, and lay out the underground plumbing and steel reinforcements prior to the application of concrete. Concrete swimming pools are waterproofed prior to the installation of tiles around the perimeter and the installation of final plumbing and above-ground finishes.
Adding the Finishing Touches
The final steps in the process include scraping and finishing the concrete shell, coping the edges of your pool or spa, installing the electrical and controls system, and installing the decking around the perimeter. The pool plumbing will be pressure-tested to ensure performance and the pool screen or door and window alarms required by building code will be installed prior to filling the pool and introducing the initial water treatment chemicals.will complete all finishes, decking, and landscaping to your satisfaction before completing any inspection that your local building code may require. Now, as the final step in the entire process, it’s time for you to enjoy your new spa or pool. You can also connect them on Facebook.
