By Aiden ArmstrongThe Everlasting Valve Company has long been considered to be one of the most trusted manufacturers of valves in the industry. But with all of different types of valves that it manufactures, it can be a bit of a challenge to know how each one works.
To help you with this, here is a look at a few things that you should know about Everlasting blow down valves.
Three Different Configurations
The first thing that you should know about Everlasting blow down valves is that they are available in three different configurations. These include:
- Quick Opening Configurations
- Slow Opening Straight Configurations
- Angle Configurations
There Are Several Different Series
Another thing that you should be aware of when it comes to Everlasting blow down valves is that there are several different series of them. Currently, the most popular series include:
- 4000 Series
- 4060 and 4061 Series
- 5000 Series
- 6000 Series
Each series also has a variety of different sizes and types of blow down valves within it, although many of the features are similar across the entire series. The 4060 series, for example, has features that include things like leak proof seal-disc, straight-through-flow, and a seal that is unaffected by temperature change.
Not All Suppliers Offer Every Type of Valve
One of the main things that you should be aware when searching for blow down valves is that not all dealers offer every type. Some will only offer a select few types or sizes, and will try to push these options on you for the sake of making a sale.
Instead of giving in, it is always best to go with someone that offers options that meet your exact needs. This is also why it is generally recommended to go with a supplier that has strong customer service, as it will be able to help you find the one that is right for you.
